Day care says it's forced to move
A Spring Valley day care will soon close its doors after it says the village acquired the land and asked the center to move.
Parents say the Little Angels Day Care Center at 114 N. Main St. has long provided affordable, quality services. But the village took over the land though eminent domain two years ago and asked the center to move in February.
New construction going on outside of the day care center is part of a downtown revitalization effort in Spring Valley. News 12 attempted to contact Spring Valley Mayor George Darden for comment but did not get a response.
