YONKERS - Nearly everyone in the United States has just nine more days to be signed up for health insurance or risk paying a fee.

Federal health officials announced more than 5 million Americans have signed up for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act.

Tens of thousands of people who don't have insurance yet have a deadline of March 31.

The penalty for not having insurance by the deadline is $95 per person for the year and $47.50 for each child under 18.
