Republican Chris Day is the new Orangetown supervisor-elect after Democrat Thom Kleiner called Day to concede following an extremely close vote.
Day leads by 190 votes, with more than 15,000 votes cast.
Though absentee ballots have yet to be counted, Kleiner said on Facebook, "Realistically speaking we are not going to overcome that gap with absentee ballots."
The vote is not official until it's certified by the Rockland Board of Elections.
