The summer-like weather Sunday inspired Hudson Valley residents to head outdoors and soak up the sun.
Many people enjoyed a picnic, rode a bike or caught some rays, as residents who grew tired of the dreary winter months took full advantage of an April day's summer-like conditions.
"It's awesome for the kids, allows us to get them out of the house and do things like this, which you don't get to do too often - at least lately," says Tim Perini, of Harrison.
