11h agoThe new East Lincoln Bridge is now open for drivers.
The span bridges the road connecting Mount Vernon and Pelham over the Hutchinson River Parkway.
It has been closed since last year January for construction.
The Department of Transportation built a temporary bridge for drivers during construction while they replaced the old structure.
Now the new construction is up and running - although it's not complete just yet.
The projected completion date is August 2022.
