Officials say 35 people in Elmsford are now homeless after a fire tore through a multi-family building.
Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner says it happened Friday afternoon on Saw Mill River Road.
He says the home, which was the old Elephant Room, was condemned by the building department after the fire.
Feiner says no injuries were reported.
The victims are receiving help from the Community Emergency Response Team and the Red Cross
