Bronx Councilman Andy King is under fire following an investigation by the City Council's Standards and Ethics Committee.

According to the committee's report, King is facing four violations: retaliation, disorderly conduct, conflict of interest and harassment.

The report says all of the violations stem from multiple incidents between December 2017 to about 2019. It says King harassed and bullied staffers to stop an internal investigation.

 

The report says King used city funds to cover costs for private and personal affairs. It also says King compared a photo from a pride march to child pornography.

The committee is recommending that King be suspended for 30 days without pay, removed from all assignments, pay a $15,000 fine, and that he complete a training.

Andy King told News 12 in a statement, " Yesterday, the New York City Council Ethics and Standards Committee submitted their version of events to substantiate their agenda to the execution of me. I am currently out of NYC and paying respect to my father whom we buried two years ago today. Upon my return this weekend I will address."
