A former Port Jervis building inspector who is awaiting trial for an alleged workplace sexual harassment incident is now working for the Town of Greenville.
News 12 is told David Rivera is on paid leave from Port Jervis until the verdict of a sexual harassment criminal case against him is decided.
Rivera is currently working as a part-time inspector for the Town of Greenville.
Town Supervisor David Zabikowski says he is aware of the allegations and has “no concerns” about hiring Rivera as the accusations against him are “nothing serious.”
Rivera’s case has been delayed due to COVID-19 court closures. It will be heard by the Town of Wallkill.
