Additional police will be present this weekend at Clarkstown High School South for its homecoming festivities following a recent incident involving underage drinking.
According to Clarkstown police, South students will have to deal with an increased police presence after some students from Clarkstown High School North went on a drinking spree during their homecoming festivities last week. News 12 Hudson Valley has confirmed that the driver of a party bus left 50 students in New York City after at least one of them got sick.
In a statement, the Party Ride bus company said, "We are still looking into the details of what went on and it was caused by some sort of underage drinking, but nothing that was OK'd by us....we can't be responsible for people's personal conduct."
Some students at Clarkstown High School South say they decided to skip the homecoming festivities altogether.
