NEW YORK - Saturday was the last full day to enjoy the festivities on Super Bowl Boulevard in the heart of Manhattan.
The blocks surrounding Times Square have been the center of the football universe for the past week. Fans from all over the country have been soaking in the city and the Super Bowl with the different activities and staged events produced by the NFL.
The big game has been hyped as Denver’s No. 1 offense against the league’s No. 1 defense in Seattle. Other storylines include the legacy of Denver quarterback Peyton Manning and the outspoken Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman, who dissed Manning’s passing abilities this past week.
Sunday’s forecast calls for sunshine followed by increasing clouds throughout the day. Temperatures are expected to be around 50 degrees.
