Five finalists have been chosen for the design of affordable housing coming to the South Bronx.The city held a competition for architects and developers to submit proposals on how they would want the vacant lot on Brooke Avenue and East 156th Street to look. The lot will be turned into a development with residential spaces, a garden and a green market. The entire space is expected to be environmentally friendly.The five finalists will be on exhibit at the Center for Architecture beginning in March.
