Flights resume at Westchester County Airport after thousands were canceled due to weather-related problem

HARRISON - Flights are once again taking off and landing at Westchester County Airport in Harrison, after thousands were canceled nationwide due to weather-related problems.

The bulk of the canceled flights were in Chicago, Cleveland, New York and Boston.

There are still some delays, but airline officials say many passengers should make it to their destinations at some point today.

JetBlue and other airlines canceled many flights on Monday and spent today getting back on track.

Many of the passengers News 12 spoke with were headed to Florida. They say that the temperature in Fort Lauderdale may have only reached about 46 degrees today, but they prefer it to the frigid temperatures of New York.
