Former Indian Point supervisor Daniel Wilson gets probation in lying case

Wilson allegedly lied about test results involving plant emergency procedures. (1/16/14)

WHITE PLAINS - Former Indian Point supervisor Daniel Wilson was sentenced in federal court in White Plains this afternoon.

In October, Wilson pleaded guilty to fabricating records and lying to investigators to make sure the Buchanan plant stayed open. Wilson allegedly lied about test results involving emergency procedures to put the nuclear plant in a better light.

Wilson was originally facing up to two years in prison, but will serve 18 months on probation.
