Former President Bill Clinton stopped by a Deer Park laundromat Tuesday.
Clinton came to announce a new literacy program and reading space at Laundro Lux.
The program was created through a partnership between the Clinton Foundation's Early Childhood Education Initiative. and the LaundryCares Foundation.
The program provides kids and parents with books, toys and other tools to help children learn during laundry time.
News 12 also asked Clinton about the two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump that were announced by the House Democrats Tuesday.
"That's what they're supposed to do," said Clinton. "They had hearings, they found facts ... the judiciary committee will read the report. Then the House will vote one way or the other, and we'll see what happens."
Clinton said as the matter heads to the judiciary committee for a vote, the American people have a chance to form their own opinion.
"You have to decide, you and everybody else what do you think the facts are," said Clinton. "And if you think the facts are as they say, do you care? And every American has to decide that."
Clinton was impeached in 1998 on perjury and obstruction of justice. He was the second president to be impeached.
Clinton was later acquitted by the Senate in 1999 and was not removed from office.
