A former manager at the Westport Library accused of child pornography charges faced a judge today.

Robert Kelly, 43, was arrested late last month. Westport police say Kelly shared an illegal photo containing child pornography on Facebook.

According to the arrest warrant, police conducted a search at Kelly's apartment in Westport. That's when police say Kelly admitted he's been looking at child pornography for the past 10-15 years. Police say Kelly also admitted to looking at child pornography on his phone while working at the library.

Kelly was fired from his position at the library when officials first heard of the charges.

Police say Kelly was also involved in a sex crime investigation in Rhode Island, where he previously lived. The warrant says Rhode Island police saw a change in Kelly's address to Connecticut, so they forwarded their report to Connecticut State Police.

Kelly's case is being transferred to Stamford Superior Court on Feb. 22.
