Fourteen-year-old stabbed by fellow student at Middletown H.S.
Police are trying to determine the motive behind a 14-year-old student?s stabbing of another student at Middletown High School.
According to police, a 14-year-old student was walking out of a classroom Thursday when the suspect stabbed him in the shoulder with a pocketknife. The victim later received stitches for his wound. The two students were in the same ROTC class at the school. Police say the suspect has not been cooperative in the investigation.
School administrators say the incident is a criminal matter that is being handled according to school district procedures. The suspect is charged with second-degree assault.
