In light of the recent child abuse deaths in the Bronx and city, child advocates will be holding a free child abuse awareness forum.
Child advocates will be hosting classes and discussions for Bronx parents and children. Some of the discussions will include information about services for victims of sexual or physical abuse and warning signs of child abuse.
Officials from the Montefiore Child Advocacy Center will also provide information on the hospital?s resources. The forum will be held Friday, April 7 from 3 to 9 p.m. at M.S. 80 on East Mosholu Parkway.
