The brutally cold temperatures hitting the Hudson Valley have some residents dreaming of spring.

Winter hasn?t officially started yet, but people have had to dress in layers when going outside. Some residents say face masks and furry hats are a must, especially since the winds have been so strong.

Others, however, say they welcome the cold weather. "It doesn't bother me," one Nyack resident said. "I'm not running off to Florida like a lot of my neighbors are."
