The annual Friendly Gathering was held in White Plains Sunday to benefit local charities that work hard to help others.
This year’s event benefited Furniture Sharehouse and the Food Bank for Westchester.
Organizers say more than 450 families and individuals are helped by the Furniture Sharehouse each year and over 300 community partners are served by the Food Bank for Westchester.
The fundraiser was also a celebration of 25 years of service for the RDC Center for Counseling and Human Development.
The center provides affordable counseling to children, teens and adults, using money raised each year at the Friendly Gathering.

The event raised $20,000 for charity last year and organizers say this year’s goal was $25,000.
