Workers and customers at the Fulton Fish Market say business has been strong since its move to the Bronx a year ago.
The fish market had spent 185 years in lower Manhattan before its move to a new state-of-the-art facility in the Bronx. Vendors say the new building takes care of a lot of the problems they had at the old location. The building is kept at 42 degrees all year, has brand new equipment and more security.
While Fulton Fish Market workers say it?s easier doing business at the new location, some miss the atmosphere in lower Manhattan.
