A funeral was held Monday for the 16-month-old girl found dead in a Liberty hotel room.
Services for Akaasha Luvert were held at the Colonial Ramsey Funeral Home in Liberty.
Court records show the child died of fentanyl exposure after her parents smoked it in front of her.
Both of her parents are facing criminally negligent homicide charges and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
