Family, friends and fellow soldiers said their final farewells as a slain Marine from Greenwood Lake was laid to rest yesterday.
Hundreds of people gathered at Saint Rosary's Church for Lance Cpl. Scott Lynch's military funeral. The 22-year-old was killed last week during combat operations in Afghanistan.
On Monday, thousands of community members lined the streets to honor the young man for his bravery.
Lynch leaves behind a wife, his parents and two brothers.
