HAVERSTRAW - Hundreds gathered today for the funeral of a 20-year veteran of the Haverstraw Volunteer Ambulance Corp.

Richard Capper died last week of a massive coronary while working at his job for the Palisades Park Service.

Capper died while plowing snow.

The funeral service was held at St. Peter’s Church. Capper was buried at Mount Repose Cemetery in Haverstraw.
