Funeral to be held for slain Pace student
Family, friends and as many as 200 students and faculty are preparing to say goodbye to the Pace University student fatally shot by police nearly two weeks ago.
Danroy Henry, 20, was killed after police fired at least three bullets through his windshield during an encounter outside of a Thornwood bar.
The attorney for the victim?s family, Michael Sussman, revealed Henry's last words today: "They shot me." He also announced that he does not know what happened to the gun residue that he believes should be in the car.
Police say Henry was trying to run them over with his car and even had one officer on his hood, but several witnesses say an officer jumped in front of the car with his gun already drawn.
Henry's funeral will be held tomorrow in Boston. Sussman says he plans on holding a news conference there, where he will release more information.
