Cold Saturday morning, followed by dry weekend

WHAT'S NEXT: A dry and fairly mild weekend ahead, but rain chances linger for Monday. 
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Meredith Garofalo says freeze alerts are in place for the lower Hudson Valley until Saturday, but the weekend will be dry and fairly mild. The freeze warning has been issued for Orange and Putnam counties until Oct. 29 at 9 a.m. A frost advisory has been issued for Westchester and Rockland counties until Oct. 29 at 9 a.m.
FORECAST:

OVERNIGHT: Partly cloudy turning mostly clear with lows in the 30s. Frost/freeze alerts in place for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties. 

SATURDAY: A beautiful start to the weekend. Sunny with highs around 60. Lows around 40 degrees south, 30s north.  

SUNDAY: Frosty start. Increasing clouds. Highs around 63 degrees. Lows around 50. 

MONDAY: (HALLOWEEN) Cloudy, damp and drizzly with a few steadier showers possible in the afternoon and evening. Highs around 65 degrees. Lows around 55. TRICK-OR-TREAT WEATHER: It should not be raining heavily but will be a little wet with light showers. Plan on taking an umbrella with you. 

TUESDAY: Cloudy with a lingering shower or two early, then breaking for some sun. Highs around 69. Lows near 52.
