Christmas came a bit early this year for a Goshen couple.
Instead of Santa, the gift bearer was good Samaritan Eric Lester.
Vicki Fiedel says Lester recovered her husband's wedding ring at Goshen Park and Ride Friday after after a grueling seven-hour commute home by bus.
The Goshen couple went back despite the dark and storm in search of the ring, but to no avail.
Fiedel posted about losing the ring on a public Facebook page and Lester, a total stranger, came to the rescue.
Lester says he turned on his machine and knew where it was within 30 seconds.
"I took about a foot of snow off the mound and it was just laying right there," he says.
Fiedel says they offered to give Lester a reward, but he refused.
