Good Samaritans save Ramapo crash victim
Four Good Samaritans are being hailed as heroes for saving the life of a woman who lost control of her car as she tried to avoid a trash can in the roadway and ended up in a fiery crash today.
Annamaria Badenchini, 41, had crashed her SUV alongside the Palisades Parkway in Ramapo and the car quickly went up in flames.
"We grabbed her and pulled her on the grass and then realized we were still too close to the car," says Colton Reitzes, one of the rescuers.
Badenchini's family says she remains at Westchester Medical Center under heavy sedation.
