governor.
Gov. Andrew
Cuomo signed legislation to allow them to overrule or veto school board decisions
that violate state laws or fail to follow
the district’s improvement plan.
State Sen. Elijah Reichlin-Melnick says it’s a milestone for
East Ramapo children and families deprived of high-quality public education.
The legislation is in effect until June 2025.
