Governor Pataki's stay at Hudson Valley hospital is extended
Governor Pataki?s (R-NY) hospital stay has been extended by his doctors.
Pataki has been in the hospital for almost four days. Early Thursday morning, the governor checked himself into the hospital after experiencing abdominal pain. He had his appendix removed and was treated for an infection.
Now his doctors say the governor?s intestines are not functioning properly and they want to keep him an extra day for observation. Pataki?s spokespeople say the governor is continuing to work and is anxious to get home.
Officials say the governor?s medical condition will be evaluated again Monday.
