The Greenburgh community is coming together to honor the memory of Stephanie Kavourias, a cherished resident who tragically lost her life in a hit-and-run incident last month.

Town leaders held a solemn memorial in her honor Wednesday.

Additionally, the Greenburgh Parking Authority has decided to name a garage after her, and board members presented her sister with a special proclamation.

In response to police recommendations, the town board is implementing speed limit changes on select roads. Town officials have expressed their commitment to exploring all community-suggested solutions to enhance pedestrian safety going forward.
