Group of teens arrested for vandalizing Monroe neighborhood
A group of teens were arrested Monday for vandalizing a Monroe neighborhood earlier this month.
State police say three 16-year-olds and one 18-year-old walked around the Round Lake Park Region drinking alcohol and performing several incidents of criminal mischief. According to police, the teens slashed numerous tires, smashed mailboxes, broke car windows and threw a rock through the window of a house.
Each teen is charged with a felony and two misdemeanors. They are due back in court July 21. If convicted on the felony charge, the teens could face up to seven years in prison.
