Gunfire erupted in two separate incidents in Wallkill over the weekend.

Police say shots first rang out early Saturday around 2 a.m. at Whispers Cocktail Lounge. They say a victim reported that she heard gunshots and that her car was struck by several bullets. Officers report a second vehicle was also hit with rounds during the shooting. The victim was not hurt.

A second shooting happened just after 5 a.m. on Saturday  on Patio Road.

When officers arrived, they say a man reported that a suspect fired several rounds from a handgun during an argument. The suspect fled the scene in a grey sedan. No one was hurt.

The shootings were not related.
