Happy homecoming for hungry customers
A popular Middletown diner opened its doors Tuesday, almost a year after it was closed due to a devastating fire.
Maddy's Diner welcomed its customer?s back inside. Loyal patrons and new customers packed the landmark diner and filled up every seat. They offered up warm wishes of encouragement to the owner, Marc Drury.
Fire investigators still have not figured how what caused the fire that started in the attic last July. When the rebuilding process began, Drury considered expanding and possibly changing some things up. But, then he remembered what the 50-year-old diner is all about. Drury says it?s about family and family ?loves everything about Maddy?s Diner.?
