A drug raid in Haverstraw Thursday put two family members behind bars.
Police say they executed a search warrant at 98 Bridge St. after someone in the neighborhood made a complaint. Investigators say they found a large metal knuckle knife and some cocaine during the raid. Deniece Roberts, 47, and a 17-year-old girl were taken into police custody. Authorities say a 14-year-old girl was also home during the raid, but was not charged.
Roberts and the teen were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, weapons possession and other misdemeanors.
Neighbors say the area has seen its share of drug problems in the last two months. In January, six people were arrested in a home on the same street. Police found cocaine and thousands in cash in that raid.
