Hazy, unseasonably warm Sunday on Long Island

Storm Watch Team meteorologist Craig Allen says Sunday will be another summer-like day – but temperatures will cool off after the weekend.

Storm Watch Team meteorologist Craig Allen says Sunday will be another summer-like day – but temperatures will cool off after the weekend.
Allen says the record high temperature on Saturday at Long Island MacArthur Airport tied the previous record set back on the same date in 1996.
Any morning fog will give way to hazy sunshine with highs ranging from near 75 along the shore to 85-90 in northwest Nassau County.  
SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a chance for scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Turning cooler. Low near 60.
MONDAY: Chance of an early shower, then some sun but noticeably cooler. High 70-75.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny with highs near 65-70. Lows near 52.
WEDNESDAY: sun giving way to clouds. High again 65-70.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance for showers. Highs near 70
FRIDAY: A few showers likely.  High near 70.
SAT: Early showers then some sun.  High near 75.
