Westchester County police seized a loaded handgun during a traffic stop on Monday. Officials say the stop happened on the Hutchinson River Parkway in Mount Vernon.
They tell News 12 that the driver, a Massachusetts man, is facing several charges, including criminal possession of a weapon.  
State police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who may be passing counterfeit money. They say the woman used a fake $100 bill at Tantillo's Farm Market in Gardiner. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (845) 338-1702.
