Heat wave continues to melt away Hudson Valley residents
As temperatures reached 90 plus degrees for another day in Warwick, residents headed for Stanley Deming ParkTuesday, in hopes of beating the heat.
While most adults know how to keep cool, until the heat breaks, doctors say to keep a watchful eye on children and the elderly. Experts tell residents there are many ways to beat the heat, but some of the best ways include wearing light-colored clothing, postponing midday outdoor sporting events until the cooler evening hours and make sure to drink plenty of fluids throughout the day.
Meteorologists report a cold front is approaching the area and the heat wave should break by Thursday.
