A pit bull puppy seen being abused in a viral video now has a fur-ever home.
Maximus was officially adopted Tuesday at the Yonkers Animal Shelter.

His new owner, Ricky Vetrano, says Maximus now lives in a luxury Yonkers apartment and is very much loved.
"There's a dog park, he's got his own patio - and you know, he’s the only animal in the house. He’s going to be head of the household," says Vetrano.
While Maximus has a fur-ever home, there are so many animals waiting for theirs. If you would like to adopt pet, there are 35 dogs and 75 cats currently at the Yonkers Animal Shelter.
