A popular Orange County deli is now closed after a coronavirus
outbreak among staff.
The owner of Jay’s Deli, located on Route 32, says an employee
tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, and since then so have four others.
The store closed on Monday for professional cleaning and will
remain closed for the next two weeks.
News 12 reached out
to the Health Department for comment on contact tracing or whether any
customers may have been exposed but has
not heard back yet.
