Hiker rescued after falling down 25-foot cliff in Orange County on Christmas Eve

The Woodbury Fire Department says it was dispatched to Harriman State Park after the hiker was reported injured around 7 p.m. Christmas Eve.

A hiker is recovering after falling down a 25-foot cliff in Orange County. The Woodbury Fire Department says it was dispatched to Harriman State Park after the hiker was reported injured around 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
Officials say the injured hiker was found about 1 1/2 miles into the woods and had a broken leg and jaw.
The hiker was evacuated from the woods, and was flown out via medevac.
