Two groups are getting creative to continue supporting victims and survivors amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Westchester’s Pace Women's Justice Center and Orange County’s Fearless group have added video, email and text alternatives instead of meeting one-on-one.
News 12 Is told that now more than ever, many homebound victims and survivors are in need of emergency assistance. The groups are doing as much as they can to avoid a disruption in their services.
"There are resources available and there is help available for people who need us,” says Cindy Kanusher, of Pace Women’s Justice Center.
Fearless representative Kellyann Kostyal-Larrier reassured those in need that “…victims know that they can find us no matter what and that we will meet them where they're at, wherever that may look."
