Hudson Valley expected to see another winter blast
Many residents of Westchester and the Hudson Valley spent Tuesday preparing for another round of winter weather that is expected the hit the region overnight.
?We're always ready for it,? says Simon Tor, of Goshen. ?We always have, [during] this time of year, great snowstorms, and don't worry, we'll survive it.?
Utility companies in Orange and Rockland counties say they have workers and equipment on standby in the event of downed power lines and outages.
News 12 meteorologists say light snow will develop very early Wednesday morning and could be heavy at times through 7 a.m. The snow is expected to mix and change to rain during the Wednesday morning commute.
Parts of the area could see snow accumulations between 2-8 inches before the rain arrives. The rain will be heavy at times throughout Wednesday evening. Minor flooding could occur.
Drivers are urged to use caution when out on the roads Wednesday.
