A Stony Point man and his wife say they are fighting back against budget cuts that cost him his job.
After 24 years of service, Glen Chorba says he's had his last day on the job as the only court attendant for the Rockland County Courthouse.
Chorba and his wife, Ellen, have launched a letter-writing campaign asking that the judge's decision be reconsidered. They say they've also created a Facebook page which currently has more than 250 followers.
Ellen Chorba says she also sent a letter to state court officials urging a review of civil service laws to assure her husband wasn't let go improperly.
