Hudson Valley travelers at Stewart Airport expressed a range of emotions on the recent terror travel alert issued by the State Department, but they say that even without the warning, travelers should always be alert.
A series of videos, suspected to have been masterminded by Osama bin Laden, suggest terrorist attacks on European tourist sites, although they do not specify an exact time or location.
Security officials say that if the threats were, in fact, issued by bin Laden, then it would be the most involved role that he has played in plotting terrorist attacks since 9/11.
For many travelers however, they say they plan on continuing to travel, but will stay alert to their surroundings.
The security alert is expected to continue throughout the holidays and early into next year.
