State police are combing through clues Thursday in the aftermath of a deadly truck crash on the NYS Thruway in Suffern.

Police say James Verdile, of Ulster County, was driving a Byrne Dairy truck when he plowed into the Hemion Road overpass Wednesday. Early reports indicate Verdile may have been on his cell phone at the time of the accident. Police say he died instantly.
