A demolition crew in Suffern began work today on tearing down homes that were severely damaged by Hurricane Irene.

Two homes were demolished today on Lonergan Drive and two more will be torn down next week. Residents in the Squires Gate community, where the homes were demolished, say they've been waiting for the homes to be torn down since Irene struck more than two years ago.
