Hyde Park Police Department has a new officer fighting crime - with all four legs.

K-9 Urso completed 14 weeks of rigorous training and testing at the Dutchess County Law Enforcement Training Academy.

Urso is a 2-year-old German Shepherd originally from Slovakia, and is trained in tracking, area search, building search, evidence recovery and criminal apprehension.
