Kevin Lencki, of West Harrison, accused of endangering children at Preston Elementary School

WEST HARRISON - A West Harrison man was arraigned yesterday after allegedly making sexually inappropriate comments to four young boys.

Police say Kevin Lencki, 51, approached four young kids playing baseball on a field at Preston Elementary School on April 13.  They say he made numerous inappropriate and graphic comments and then tried to follow the kids as they left to go get a drink from a store.

Lencki was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child. In a statement, the school superintendent says they are cooperating with the investigation and that Lencki is not allowed on or around school property.

Authorities say Lencki has no prior arrest history.

He was released on $100 bail and is due back in court May 20.
