Holiday marks unofficial end of summer

Today marks Rye Playland's last day of the season.

The long Labor Day holiday weekend signaled the unofficial end to the summer.

Many people spent the day relaxing at Rye Beach.

Some people tell News 12 they are doing everything they can to enjoy the last few hours of the summer season.

For those who couldn't make it to the beach, it's still open until the end of the month.
