NYACK - Daytime traffic crossing the Tappan Zee Bridge is expected to be affected this week by a lane closure.

Construction is set to pick back up on the new Tappan Zee Bridge today after being slowed by winter weather.

Pile driving operations will close the southbound right lane near exit 10 of I-87 and I-287 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. for the entire week.

Tappan Zee Constructors is working on the shorelines of Rockland and Westchester to install massive steel piles, which will help support the new bridge once its built.
